What services are included in biogas plant engineering?
Depending on the project phase, the scope may include a feasibility study, feedstock assessment, mass and energy balances, process selection, preliminary sizing, tendering, project management, construction supervision, commissioning and plant optimisation.
When is a biogas feasibility study useful?
Before an investment decision, when introducing new feedstocks, expanding capacity, converting to biomethane or planning a repowering project. The study assesses technical feasibility, gas and energy potential, plant concept, cost framework and risks.
Can an existing biogas plant be technically optimised?
Yes. The assessment may cover process stability, feedstock mix, organic loading rate, retention time, energy consumption, heat utilisation, bottlenecks and options for capacity expansion.
Which organic residues are covered by the process solutions?
Focus areas include digestate, straw and lignocellulosic materials, bioethanol and brewery residues, starch and potato residues, as well as POME, palm-oil and sugarcane residues.
Is the engineering consultancy independent and international?
Yes. The consultancy is supplier-independent and can be provided as a defined work package or continuous project support. Project communication is available in German, English and Polish.
